Transjakarta Adds Eight AC Mickotrans for JAK 10A Route

City-owned bus operator Transjakarta added air-conditioned (AC) buses with Gondangdia to Cikini route via Cikini Raya (JAK 10A).

They start operating on Friday (7/29)

PT Transjakarta Bus Secretary Division Head Anang Rizkani Noor said there were eight air-conditioned buses and would operate between 5 AM to 10 PM with a fare of Rp 0 or free.

"They start operating on Friday (7/29). This is our commitment to provide a safe and convenient service," he expressed, Monday (8/1).

Commission B Encourages Use of Electric Vehicles for Microtrans

He explained that Mikrotrans is important, as it is a first and last mile service that has been integrated with all Transjakarta services and other modes of transportation.

"Besides providing convenience, it also provides a more pleasant transportation experience," he explained.

He added the bus is also equipped with running text that informs the route served, automatic sliding doors, widescreen TV, emergency button, and glass breaker hammer.

To ride the bus, every customer must carry out the tap in and tap out on the Tap on Bus (TOB) device installed in the fleet.

"Then don't forget to obey health protocols for mutual comfort," he stated.
